Feeling the call to be of service? This episode is for you.
If you have done a few ayahuasca retreats, you know the shift. You entered the medicine path for your own healing, and somewhere along the way a seed starts growing: “I want to give back. I want to support others.” That impulse can be real, clean, and sacred. It can also get tangled in performance, spiritual identity, and the need to be liked.
In this episode we bring service down to earth.
Service is not a persona. It is the natural overflow of integration. It is where your gift and your grief meet. The places that broke you open often become the places you can hold others with uncommon precision, especially in the retreat and post-ceremony landscape where people come home with a lot of light and not enough structure to live it.
I use a simple metaphor to name what stops most people: the hermit crab crossing. You outgrow your old shell, you see the next one, and the only way there is to walk naked across open ground. Many people keep stepping in and out of the same shell for years. They volunteer once, post once, offer once, then retreat back into hiding. The call is not the problem. The crossing is.
We also get practical about boundaries and integrity in the service field.
If you lead with empathy before respect, you will get drained. If your service depends on approval, you will dilute your truth. If you confuse peak states from ceremony with readiness, you will overreach. True service is stable, relational, and grounded in daily life: how you speak, how you follow through, how you hold your energy, how you treat people, how you protect your nervous system.
This is especially relevant if you want to support others after ayahuasca retreats, hold integration space, assist in ceremony, or build a real practice. The foundation is not branding. It is embodiment.
- The “healing to service” threshold after ayahuasca retreats
- Gift + grief as the real source of service
- The hermit crab crossing: leaving the old shell and becoming visible
- Serving without needing to be liked, praised, or validated
- “Who before how”: stop obsessing over strategy and choose one person you want to serve
- Clean boundaries: respect first, compassion second
- How to reconnect with retreat community without hidden agenda
- Why integration is not complete until it reaches behavior and action
- Reach out to one retreat friend with zero agenda: “You came to mind. How are you doing lately?”
- Identify one boundary that protects your energy without closing your heart
- Notice where you are trying to “prove” your service, and remove that motive
- Commit to one small daily act that builds trust with yourself
If you want a deeper container for this work, here are three ways to step in:
The Integration Circle A grounded space to process what happens after ceremony and translate insight into daily life, guided with emotional safety, confidentiality, and practical integration principles.
The Celebration Circle A six month group container with 24 live calls, built for people whose gifts are coming back online and who need clean mirrors, real witnessing, and the skills to stand in what is true without shrinking.
Sacred Impact A six month, 24 week container for leaders building offerings, a practice, or a platform in this space. Voice, vision, structure, integrity, and the lived embodiment required for your service to land.

Do you also feel this inner calling to serve?
Have you also experienced going from, I’m going into an ayahuasca retreat to focus on my own healing?
And then you start accumulating so much experience, so much wisdom, that you’re starting to feel the need to be of service to other people.
0:20
That is what this episode is about when we’re bringing our inner experience and embodiment to be of service to this world.
Eventually, when we’ve gone deep on our journey and we heal, that we’ve been served by communities and teachers and mentors, there’s little seed that start to grow and we want to be of service.
0:40
Maybe supporting a ceremony, doing integration work with others, helping them on their transformational journey.
So this is a presentation focused on to lead into love and to serve from your own unleashed heart.
And 1st, we’re going to ground a little bit in the gift because in my understanding, the service is not just a gift.
1:03
There was someone who once said you find your true service when you find out what really breaks your heart.
And I felt that some deeply and it took me many years to accept it.
That actually service is where your gifts and your grief gets to meet.
1:20
So service is not like a separate tract or anything.
It is the land where you’re gifting grief.
They get to dance together because what breaks your heart fully open, it also what makes it full of gifts.
Now, I understand that can take some time as a seed to integrate, but there are many dimensions to that profound embodied inside.
1:43
So I also just want to leave it as a seed.
But maybe in 10 years.
It took 10 years for me that it actually can grow into quite beautiful truth in your own journey and path.
For me, grief, it opens and it breaks open the heart.
It’s also expands the heart to hold more and the gifts they fulfil and they express.
2:04
And a key question here when you start looking this from your own perspective can be, what if my gift of service or what is it when it has nothing to prove?
Because so many of us, when we’re grounding our gifts into this world, we stop because the outer eye or the projection of what we’re seeing that we should be or could be or wants to be, we don’t really know how to balance it with where we are now.
2:31
It’s almost like we’re climbing up to a big mountain top.
I had to have a better example than this, climbing up in the mind using the masculine energy.
We have so many strategies and so many ideas of what we should do and every analyzing every strategy and we’re building strategies within the mind.
2:46
And then suddenly we’re standing on top of wondering, how am I going to walk on my part?
This is really, there’s a far way down and I might fall and we don’t know how to merge that with where we are right now.
So if we can take that step today.
And when it comes to our grief, I feel that so much of my own journey that really broke my heart has awakened so many gifts that are now so fully alive.
3:16
And it is just a deep honor to be able to hold the heart that can hold the grief and the gifts at the same time.
Now, we talked earlier about the golden shadow and healing the shadow that sort of blocks our service.
3:32
And in the previous prestation, you also learn more about the inner and the outer eye.
We all have a tendency to create a very big and sometimes thick protective shell.
Because for me, the service is also so sacred.
It’s where when we see these circles that retreats and also online, a lot of the people are coming out of their turtle shell and breathing, OK, people accept me.
3:56
I can be myself, I can have emotions, can be fully human.
And then they go back into their life.
They just go back into their shell.
So a part of this that blocks the service is that we need to remove the shell, and you get to be in circles and retreats for as long as you need until you feel safe to do that.
4:14
But where I see most people get stuck with service is that they go in and out of the shell, in and out of the shell, and they can never fully make a decision.
And I see it a little bit like a hermit.
If you seem like a hermit that comes out of his shell and walks on the beach, they’re so cute.
4:33
When the hermits are hurt, when they’re healing, they won’t actually go out of their shell and they can suffocate in that shell because they keep growing, but they’re not going out of the shell.
And that’s I feel is very symbolic for the healing journey that we go expanding and expanding.
But if we don’t dare to step into a bigger container for ourselves, we might actually start suffocating in our own growth.
4:55
Now the hermit, when it changes shell because it’s growing, it’s expanding.
It actually looks at the shell there on the sea bank, and it’s that’s the shell I want.
It’s shiny, it’s beautiful, it’s fabulous.
But then the hermit has to go out of its shell naked and walk naked over the sandbag.
5:16
Imagine how vulnerable little hermit without a shell can just be like eaten by fish, has to walk naked on the sandbank until he gets to the new shell where he gets to live.
And this is where I see most people on my journey that comes to me and it’s my help.
5:34
They have been going in and out of the same shell so many times.
They see the shell that they hope that they can move because it’s so beautiful.
But they’re terrified of walking naked between the shell that they had the same little home that they were living in and into that expanded shell.
5:49
So they stay in the old shell and they’re suffocating like that.
Old life is not sustaining them, that old home or protection or character, persona or idea of themselves.
It’s too small.
They expand so much.
They need a beautiful big shell so they can be like, oh, they can move their arms and their legs and it can be like singing inside it and it can feel really comfortable.
6:13
So if you summarize the whole transmission journey really simply, we’re all just growing little hermits waiting to be brave enough to walk naked into the shell of our new belonging and our new becoming.
So to heal this shadow, it’s not only to be able to confront the part of you that is keeping you safe, but also to start taking those steps naked and vulnerable until you are letting yourself fall into this new identity shall becoming.
6:48
And this is where a lot of I feel spiritual methodologies confuse people, which are like, the concept is no shell.
Just walk around the sandbank naked and then they’re sitting in this shell of the guru or the shell of the shaman or the shell of the facilitator.
7:04
It’s all seashells.
It’s all a projected role.
It’s all good.
Find the shell that makes you happy and enjoy it.
And also question here that we need to ask ourselves is what is it within me or what is the story that says that I can’t be of service because we also have to meet that face on and self vibration needs to happen here before sometimes outward expression.
7:30
And I feel that’s really important in any type of work to take your medicine first.
So service is not really the starting point.
It’s the natural overflow of this inwardly liberated self.
I find it fascinating when I’m in a retreat and there has been someone sitting there and not daring to say anything.
7:50
And there was this one woman once, this beautiful, I think she was half Palestinian, half Egyptian, gorgeous, beautiful woman, young woman.
And she said she wanted to sing a song.
And she was really scared of singing a song in her own mother’s tongue.
8:07
And eventually she dared to get up and stood in front of 30 people and she was trying to get the courage to step out of her shell and not only walk naked but sing naked.
8:24
And I think she stood there for at least 10 minutes.
And we just feeling inside of us like, wow, she’s climbing higher and higher up in her mind is getting scary, scary and scary.
And eventually the tones came out and I don’t remember the exact song but it was this.
Started sort of really soft and vulnerable and gentle, as if the worst had been climbing slowly from the heart and out through the truth.
8:51
And finally they were sitting on the tongue and watching the world outside and just ready to release their wings and fly.
And it was a melody that just went into your heart because you can feel the words and the energy of a heart liberating itself through the voice.
9:11
And it felt something like this.
9:50
You could feel the tears of 1000 mothers and the anger of 1000 warriors suddenly rising through the energy.
10:33
And her liberated self, her liberated tones, carried the medicine of expansion that we all could feel.
And everyone in that room could feel her expansion, could feel her moving into her new shell and singing her ass off.
10:52
And everyone inside of us, when we see someone liberating themself, you can feel it, they applaud.
We might not understand it all, the dimension of ancestral wisdom and so on, but you can feel someone when they liberate themselves.
So within your own self liberation comes a natural outward expression as well.
11:11
And it’s in that overflow that you will find a lot of your juicy service because you don’t even need all that energy.
There’s so much inside of you that you can turn it into a song, so much inside of you that you can hold space for 10 people.
There’s so much inside of you that you can put your own process apart and hold space for something during ayahuasca retreat.
11:29
So receive first, let it land, and then offer.
And you can also ask yourself, what does it feel like in my body to receive the gift of service before giving?
This is where we need to be honest with ourselves.
And when I do retreats, I love to do the circle for people who feel they need to receive energy to get in inside of the circle.
11:49
And then I take everyone else outside, the ones that have surplus energy to come with me outside.
And I tell them, guys, when we go back in there, I’m going to turn on some music and I want you to do exactly what I’m doing.
We’re going to be giving them energy and they’re going to receive.
12:05
It but you need to.
Follow my lead.
So then we go in and I put in some beautiful music and then I start, for example, everyone in the circle is giving.
It takes up stands in front of each participant that is receiving.
So if I’m standing in front of you now, you would keep your eyes closed and I will very gently take your hand and I will start touching it with really beautiful feminine energy.
12:30
As a mother touching you as a child, just being very calm and gentle.
Then I might touch your hands, maybe touch your legs very gently.
Eventually I will touch your face.
It’s this beautiful child where you just want to put some nurture and love on their skin.
12:48
And then eventually I will give a hug.
And then when the whole circle do this together, those who feel that they need to receive to get back in overflow and those who want to give because they have the overflow, they balance each other out.
And usually the whole circle is crying when the hug comes.
13:04
And some people get so activated that they’re crying for a long time because it really activates the part of us that haven’t received, for example, masculine energy in a healthy form of feminine energy in a healthy form.
So it lands where it needs to grow its roots.
13:20
One of my favorite things that I’m embodying right now is to serve without the need to be like that’s why I could do this in the last session.
And if you’re so liberating to me to just be my absolute delicious crazy self and give Sarah Fox in what anyone thinks about me because I know my medicine and I know my own liberation and it can last lifetimes.
13:43
So true service.
It’s a solve to lose Bob.
I’m doing this.
They will like me.
If you’re in this world to be popular, then you know, I think we all understand that this is not really the popularity contest, but still in the spiritual realm on Instagram, it is a popularity contest.
14:01
It is about likes and shares.
But I feel the true freedom to serve.
It really is deliberation when we stop trying to be liked or popular or even right.
If I try to be righteous in my job, I’m not going to go very far because every single week I’m learning something new and I’m seeing where I actually wasn’t right.
14:22
And I keep this the exploring new facets of this diamond of consciousness within myself and in others.
So feel free to offer your presence or gifts without any agenda.
Observe and reflect on what happens.
14:38
And the question can be what happens when I serve and no one responds?
This is where I see most people stop because they say I wrote about the service to on Instagram or on a blog and nobody responded.
And I haven’t stepped into a container of doing something consistently for a whole year.
14:56
If you’re going to be serving the cost of what the seed will grow into once it receives enough nurture and feminine love and masculine love, then it will get very difficult.
If you fall in love with your path and your service is to honor yourself and express yourself and whatever actually happens on that path is OK.
15:21
It just becomes a different grounding.
It just becomes a different energy.
So if you want to be serving freely in this world, then please take some moments to look at what is are you trying to prove?
What are you trying to do to fill enough?
15:37
And what would it mean to you if you let go of that whole game, trying to do something to prove something, to validate something?
What is left of your service when it has nothing to prove?
What is left of you when you have nothing to prove?
And we could see that in the gifts in the last session, none of these gifts were proven.
15:56
They came naturally within the room and everyone could see them.
Everyone could see you shining in your own beautiful way.
And you never tried to prove that it just came naturally.
So if you’re just honoring those natural gifts within you, what would happen now?
16:13
It’s important to align with your field before your method.
And I like to think of this as who before how most clients come to me and say, I want to write this book and I want to be of service to more clients.
And I’m a spiritual teacher, I’m a healer.
I’m this, I’m that.
But I’m stuck in the how, Like how I’m going to do website, how I’m going to do the podcast, how I’m going to do the book, how I’m going to do all of these different things.
16:34
And they lost the focus on why actually they’re doing this because it’s not about the how.
It’s about The Who and the why.
That’s when I try to anchor them back into, think of one person that you would love to serve that makes you just like bubble on the inside because it would feel like you’re So’s birthday party to be in the room with them and hold space for them.
16:56
This is something I’ve learned over my journey because I’m so deliciously abundant when it comes to client that the clients that I have, they feel like my So’s birthday party.
I’m so excited.
Like the whole day when I have a session with them, I go and I’m excited.
I’m so excited to read their journal because all my clients, they write a daily journal.
17:13
So I read that before meeting them and they have seven days where they’ve gone very deep into the process.
I can see where their energy was flowing and I’m just so excited and honored that I get to spend time with them.
And the energy goes so beautifully back and forward.
I receive as much as I give.
17:29
I’m not working harder than them.
I don’t have to try to start the engine, which I would be horrible at anyway.
So when we turn the energy back to the OK, why am I doing this and who do I want to serve?
Oh, this person that was that retreat last time or in my course or program.
17:48
I love their energy and I would love to be of service to them.
I would love to be in their presence.
I would.
Love to have a conversation?
With them, that’s when you start turning this energy of service into the energy of propriosity, into the energy of expansion, in the energy of play and curiosity.
18:05
And it’s like flirting with the world and flirting with your highest excitement.
If you follow your highest excitement here and you align with your field before the how, before the method, before the strategy, there’s so much beauty that just happens that so this is where you also want to connect to your own community and all the living network of your relationship to the linens and the land that you live on and also to the earth.
18:31
If you’re deeply grounded here and you’re following your highest excitement and you’re following what you feel is most alive in you, the gifts that are naturally alive, then all your job is to align within those gifts, within your own energy.
And then you can ask yourself, what communities am I in where I would naturally be aligned with my gifts, where I would feel safe to share and be of service.
18:53
Then suddenly you’re aligned your inner and your outer.
And this is where also I think, and we think the embodied service needs to happen at a retreat and has to happen in a ceremony room or in a coaching or facilitation circle.
A lot of my service happens naturally.
19:10
Today I had a massage and I was speaking about ayahuasca and the masseuse was like, Oh my God.
I actually always wanted to try Alaska, but I’m a little bit scared.
And I explained about the mother and the feminine energy and how she’s a grandmother.
He was very interested.
That was me being of service planting a seed yesterday.
19:27
No, earlier this week I had talked to a chiropractor because I struggled with my neck and he wanted to come to the next ayahuasca treat.
If I hadn’t shared that I worked with ayahuasca and integration, he would have never come to that retreat.
And and earlier I talked to someone had Ms. and I said what I I worked with while we were working the dogs and he wanted to do some micro dosing.
19:48
It’s just every single person I meet, I share what I do.
So I walk a talk, a meal, a massage, a chiropractor, a pedicure there always leads to people coming into my network that wants to explore, that wants to hear more, that wants to receive my service.
20:05
So key question can be, what does my service feel like?
When I’m not performing service, I’m just like showing up as who I am and I’m genuinely curious and I’m genuinely excited and I’m speaking to people where I feel really safe and aligned because how we walk, talk and your presence and how you act is your service.
20:23
What you’re doing right now listening to this.
That service, you’re filling your own cup and you’re receiving the insight that you need to land and you’re being inspired and you’re receiving some of my energies.
You’re like maybe bubbling a little bit on the inside.
That service right now, you’re being of service.
20:40
You don’t have to be of more service than now.
If you feel that way, then you just need to take a moment and stop and just let that also land because that might not be true.
And this is where we need to focus on sustainability through reprocity and boundaries.
20:59
A lot of us are only givers and paths and we understand everyone and we have a deep understanding for everyone’s situation, for everyone’s actions, for everyone’s past, karmic or this lifetime.
But service can drain really quickly if it’s disconnected from your rest, your boundaries, and your truth because it has to be feminine and masculine energy.
21:22
It has to expand and has to be a reprosity here and it has to honor energy both ways.
This is where Healer said to me, because I had in the beginning of my coaching journey, I had a few clients where I had to sleep or be inside for two days after each session because I was so drained.
And I did not understand then that there was serial reprosity.
21:41
There was lots of money being given to me, but the energy change was, was so bad.
I was giving so much of my light and energy and I was so drained by all the denseness and heaviness afterwards that no money would ever be worth it.
And ayahuasca actually had to show me that one of these clients were really unhealthy.
22:00
And I couldn’t see it myself.
Because for me, she was like the perfect famous therapist on my ego was like to work with this person.
And I had to Start learning to set energetic boundaries, real boundaries.
And after sacrificing so much of my own inner well and well-being and giving away all my feathers, as I shared in the other session, I started setting the boundary of respect first.
22:27
So not my compassionate empathy understanding.
Oh, I understand why you did though.
I understand why you acted as an answer.
Oh, I understand why you said something really rude.
Oh, I understand why you stepped out of integrity.
Nope.
Respect first.
You get all my empathy and compassion and understanding and all my spiritual wisdom.
But there is a line of respect, and that line will be followed, and there is no negotiation about it.
22:51
And after I did that, my whole life has completely changed.
I don’t have to sacrifice my feathers to work and be in this world.
I can have a big social network without feeling drained.
And I, of course, have no clients that would pick all the feathers on my body, or I would give all my feathers to the body of my body for them to be happier, for them to be able to fly.
23:10
So the principle here is that you might meet a person and you have an introductory session with them.
You might connect with someone at a retreat that you went on six months ago and you connected really well with Anna or Michael.
They just love their energy so much.
23:25
It was so easy to talk to and you could really see their potential.
They just say, I would love to catch up with you in here.
How it was integrating this or how you’ve been doing since we met.
How has your journey been?
And it’s just this space that is just a coffee cup.
23:42
It is a space that is just open.
You don’t feel that you’re going to be sold Tupperware or coaching.
You just feel this person really cares.
And we really like each other.
And I love talking to them and I feel they ask really good questions and you’re a really good listener.
And it’s a really safe space.
23:59
The naturally for them conversation.
You might mention, oh, I’ve actually done this integration course now over six months.
And it’s really interesting.
Maybe they’re interested in that.
Maybe they’re interested in your practices, but the minute you start talking about a container where it’s a professional container where you’re working, you need to establish a container, you need to establish a plan.
24:20
So that’s when you have to turn it into a practice.
And you say, I would love to, to share with you what it would mean to have support on your integration journey.
But we can schedule that separately because I want our friendship energy to be one thing or, or whatever we would call it.
24:36
And then the professional container gets to live in its own.
This is also way to keep boundaries really clean and intentions really keen so that people don’t feel that we have secret hidden agenda to talk with them.
Because the minute people feel that they shy away.
Nobody wants to be chased, to be pushed into doing something.
24:55
And you can also ask yourself what boundary ritual will allow your service to try without collapse?
What boundary right now are you missing for you to feel that you could serve 10 clients or five clients to survey the retreat or serve one client?
Is there a boundary missing that would make that really exhausting for you, would make it feel like you’re sacrificing your own energy?
25:18
And Mary Lucian, I love this.
I have worked with a few people in this group that we’re in and every single time I have a client that is called and it’s always a synchronicity and referrals and beautiful things that happened that I get to work with them.
25:34
But when a client calls me, I know it’s a teacher.
It’s never a client.
It’s a teacher.
The universe saying, hey, David, so this person is going to come and work with this area and it’s a mirror to you.
It’s a mirror that this is actually your medicine as well.
25:50
You need to work on this.
If everything you meet and everyone you meet is an intimate mirror, especially clients, then your ceremony goes both ways because you’re constantly looking into this mirror and how they are processing and moving through things in a question they’re asking themselves.
26:06
And what they’re struggling with might be the same thing you’re struggling with and asking yourself.
And that is OK.
This is why you should never go into the trap of believing I have to be fully healed or complete before I can serve other people because I don’t think that the universe would just say that we sit on a mountaintop and we’re girls and we’re like, I found all the answers.
26:26
The universe will track your ass down and we’ll make sure that you get a process up there as well.
But even if you were at the top of the mountaintop, you were Buddha, Jesus, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, you were all the things embodied.
I don’t think the universe would send you any amazing, fun clients that would align very deeply and create dynamic and movement in your life.
26:44
It needs to be someone who’s meeting you where you are, where you can meet them at their level.
Nobody wants to meet someone at the mountaintop level.
They want to meet someone who’s here, who’s walking maybe a little bit ahead of them and have a little bit more experience.
But they want to be really human.
They want to have the longing.
So let’s throw the guru out the window.
We don’t need them right now.
27:01
You are the guru in the end.
So those we serve, they are reflector in the landscape and we should, we should always have our focus on giving ourself that very medicine that we’re always trying to give other people.
So what?
27:16
Pay attention to when you teach anything because normally when you’re like teaching and you’re pointing to the truth, you’re holding three fingers against yourself and the universe is like, hey, do you see who you’re pointing at?
Pay attention.
So we teach us often a projection of our inner rejections.
And I have never met a teacher in the transmissional field, famous and not famous, that haven’t based their whole platform and books on the very teaching they’re trying to learn.
27:42
It’s super ironic and super funny because we’re all holding the medicine of our own longing as well.
So the medicine we offer others is the medicine we must remember to give ourselves.
And then there’s a whole illusion of proving service.
Did I serve well?
27:58
Am I serving good enough in compared to everyone else?
There are many million people who do therapy or coaching.
Where am I in the scale of universe?
So we can go in the trap of proof?
How many clients do I have?
How many lines do I have?
How much income I have?
28:14
This doesn’t actually mean anything.
And if you feel that you’re in the trap right now, go to YouTube and look at these after death videos that people share what they die and they go to heaven and they meet God or they meet an Angel that they meet, don’t believe in God, Great Spirit ancestor, whatever.
28:31
And just hear what the great Spirit tells them before he sends them back into their body.
And just ask yourself, did any of that sounds like proof of service of income, of likes of shares of how many people they serve?
And I would love to hear what you find because it is very interesting.
28:51
I don’t think we need to prove our service.
This is first and foremost a service to yourself.
This is about filling your own cup.
When I get to see all of you marrying each other and seeing yourself through the eyes of others, I get to see myself and I get to see the hope that I lost in humanity coming back online.
29:11
I get to fall in love with the human experience again because I fall in love with the masculine and the feminine working together and dancing together.
So it’s more about the truth of your presence.
Are you true to yourself?
Are you on your true path?
Because real impact is intimate.
29:27
It’s invisible in this.
I have such a problem with that work.
Invisible, invisible and immeasurable.
It’s a single conversation.
It’s a quiet kindness.
It’s a hug.
It’s someone you saw on the train once and you said, are you OK?
29:45
You need to talk.
That’s the truest form of service in my world.
So what if you trusted every step outside your door and it was already aligned with your service?
What if you actually have to do anything?
Just follow that natural curiosity and flow and highest excitement and be of service to yourself and that creates service to others.
30:07
You might think, OK, but where do I start?
You already started a long time ago, my love, because you have been on this journey for quite some time, otherwise you would have not been in this room.
Everyone here have done a lot of deep in work.
So you have a whole circle around you with little golden treads glimmering and shining, and your network is this living golden tread.
30:29
That’s why next week we are starting to honor that network and appreciating it.
And interesting enough, the universe aligned and exactly the Thanksgiving, because you can’t make this stuff up.
The universe is like I’m doing a project management.
So begin by reconnecting, checking in, listening with genuine curiosity and not strategy.
30:50
Reconnect to retreat, friends, course friends, people that you haven’t seen for a long time and just give support on someone’s journey.
And this is where I separated.
It’s like coffee, not control because people hate to feel I’m getting like put in a coffee cup where they’re going to sell me something.
31:07
Instead, I’m holding this coffee cup because I’m actually really interested in what happening in between US and I’m creating this safe, sacred space where anything can move, where I’m not attachment, attaching any judgments or anything in that room.
This is where I actually feel you can find a depth of your own service.
31:23
How deep can you go with someone before you start inserting your own judgments and inserting your own perception on them?
How deep can you go with someone on their journey and still hold that safe, open sacred space?
And another way of doing this and really stimulating your golden network, your golden treads around you, is to have conversations and remember their birthday, remember important days for them, remember milestones that they’re celebrating.
31:51
Or maybe they say, I’m going to finish a book in six months and you check in with them.
How are you doing?
And do you need any support?
Because this creates a network that is alive, a forest system that’s alive.
And that forest system then starts also seeking naturally to you when you have surplus energy and you can be of service.
32:09
And it also gives you so much fun and life and energy, so gentle ways to connect, connect with people and reconnect and open a dialogue.
Like for me, I just talked to everyone now didn’t do that before.
I like to be isolating and be alone.
But when it comes to, for example, retreat work or course work, if I want to reconnect with someone, will say, hey, you came to my mind today.
32:28
How are you doing these days?
That’s it.
I was remembering our time of the retreat.
I’m actually going to do this to one person a day that I actually really would love to work with and would love to hear how he is super interesting, genius guy.
So I will tell him, hey, I remember our time and retreat.
How has that experience been settling in for you?
32:46
I will send that today actually, because I’m sure he will also become a client, but I will won’t have that expectation when we meet.
I will just be genuinely curious because I haven’t seen him now for four months and I’m like, wow, what happened?
You had such a profound process or it’s been a while since we spoke.
33:01
How’s life feeling lately?
Or you mentioned project a while back.
How is that in unfolding?
So the tone that we hold when we start connecting, curiosity, not console, lightness, not effort, listening, not leading, let the room lead the way.
This is also very hard, what you’re facilitating because if you paid attention to the last session, I started a question, but then I felt that the tread of the room going towards gifts in a different way and I shifted and then I was missing one person to be a part of that ritual.
33:30
Then I had to come back at the end, but to just let the room unfold.
This also to trust deeper in that consciousness that are expressing in the moment self belief, invisibility.
So if you don’t have any self belief that you can be of service in this world, you can serve as an integrator, as a facilitator, as a coach.
33:49
Then before clients can find you, you have to have some of those beliefs that you exist, that you have something that can be open, that people can actually listed that they can be a part of.
So your true marketing in those regards is your frequency and yourself belief, the quiet conviction that what you offer is real and alive.
34:10
And this is where I introduced with clients the book of belief, because I want them to be aware of all the belief that they have the sense that they can’t.
Because we have to confront that energy.
We have to meet it, we have to dance with it, we have to befriend it.
But then if you think now what are all the things I need to believe about myself?
34:25
If I thought that I actually not only could serve, but I’m really good at it.
And this is going to be effortless and I’m going to have lots of clients and all the clients are waiting for me.
And all I need to do is really being myself and connecting people, which I love and talk to people, holding space to people or whatever would be your jam.
34:42
What would I need to believe for myself for this to be successful and abundance?
That is your business plan.
That is your marketing plan to embody those beliefs.
So how can you do that but still be an authentic service to yourself?
34:59
How can you attract clients, connect to clients?
Because to get clients is very masculine, but to build relationships and shared resonance, it’s more of a feminine and body presence that is based on invitation and not selling.
So one way that I love to do this is also to enter the rooms.
35:17
That really nourishes me.
Maybe I go to art school and I meet a client there because I share about ayahuasca.
Maybe I go on a pottery class and I share about ayahuasca and someone wants integration work and they want to join a retreat.
Like I go to the room where I’m finding my highest excitement and I’m being an authentic service to myself.
35:34
And then as I share my wisdom and everything else, all of these clients, they just come naturally.
So you can actually just share what you do truthfully.
You can share from your journey.
You can share from your pal.
You can offer freely an invitation for people to experience that Maybe you learn to practice within this program.
35:52
They’re like, oh, I have this meditation that I think you would love.
Oh, I have this one way of going in and meeting this energies.
It can really release it if you want to try it and follow up with them.
Make this a living network, non numbers in an Excel sheet, but a living network that you tend to and celebrate people as they grow and as you support them on their journey.
36:16
And this is where your integration work will also be.
I want you for a week to really live as if your practice is already full and flowing.
And that’s also what this meditation homework from the other lesson is all about.
I want you to really dive into what is it that you need to believe about yourself and what is it that you would see and experience in your life if you were fully online and you’re fully embodied with all your service.
36:41
So you can also journal every single day when you do this.
How did I act from the version of me that trust life that is of service that has all the ability of so ready and what small proof did life show me in return?
The web sign can wait.
The book can wait.
Believe is the real architecture and it comes also from taking action now in every single circle that I’m in and all masterminds and coaching groups.
37:05
And when I coach and coaching certification programs or sales and marketing coaching programs, I see so many people sort of processing the same thing over and over again, but they never go outside and share it.
And integration is not complete until it leaves the room.
All of this beautiful energy, it needs to come back into your path, into your life.
37:25
You need to illuminate your diamond of being and shine into your path of becoming.
And your expression is literally oxygen for the soul.
And this is where we can start shifting from holding everything inside, starting to finding one place.
37:42
We can start to express ourselves into our own life or into our own platform.
Maybe it’s a blog, maybe it’s a podcast, but first and foremost starts building the real connection.
Start standing in your own truth, sharing your own journey, natural connecting with people and tending to them as real relationships.
38:02
And I feel that our service is truly also spiritual practice.
And it’s a spiritual practice that we need to cultivate every single day.
So see service as a seed and lungs to blossom.
Commit to one small daily experience or daily experience for a year as an act of devotion and not recognition.
38:18
So you’re not looking for anything back then.
Maybe you reach out to one person a day just as a text and say, oh, I remember when we were together 20 years ago at this retreat or in the certification or in this job and been missing your would long to connect with you.
Maybe you offer an insight in an online forum.
38:34
There’s so many ayahuasca forms, There’s so many transformational forms people talk about in or out of work.
You have a lot of experience.
Maybe offer your insight, maybe offer a practice, write something back.
You can even be anonymous and create a profile that does that, but start expressing some of this amazing abundance that you cultivated.
38:53
And you can also go inwards and bless your own work and bless your own becoming.
And as I mentioned, your gifts, they are diamonds that formed where you met the people that you’re here to serve and be served by.
So when you honor your highest excitement, you are in the energy of magic.
39:09
The room where you belong is wherever your gift and your joy intersect with the heart ready to receive them.
So find more rooms where you are really excited, where you feel you belong.
And we can also be of service to community or receive service from them.
39:25
It’s a go both ways.
And closing reflection, the circle of service.
Service is the final movement of integration.
It’s not about proof of performance, but the rhythm of rapprocity.
And I would also say resonance to yourself.
You stop trying to do service and you start beginning to live a service to yourself and others and your presence itself.
39:46
It becomes invitation.
I have to say that the more I’ve stepped into my truth, the more I’ve done my inner work and outer work, the more I’m expanding and integrating, the more I’m attracting people that are curious and interested because they’ve seen my journey.
We can become a proof of this energy.
40:02
We can come a proof of how this work is in action and in our life.
And remember your gift, this last gift to you and your embodied service and life can be also your gifts back.
That’s what I got for you this week, my friend.
40:18
And if you feel called to go deeper into your own integration work, ioffer Tree Journeys.
I lead an integration circle for people walking this path with ayahuasca, and I just completed finishing a six month integration circle with therapists, coaches, retreats, facilitators, and those that are going deep on this journey.
40:36
You can sign up at davidwalks.com and when you’re ready for the second journey, that’s the celebration circle.
It is 6 months of celebrating your life and your gifts.
And the first reaction many people have is.
Spy on Earth?
Would I want to do that?
40:51
And the answer is quite simple.
How you get there is how you will be there.
If you are constantly healing and hustling and hiding and performing or proving, do you think that once you arrive there you will suddenly feel free?
Because I see that waiting to celebrate until after you achieve the new job, had more ayahuasca, or fixed your relationship is not the answer.
41:15
Celebration is not the reward, It’s the rehearsal.
It’s the daily act of self respect, self honor and gratitude.
It’s the integration of who you already are.
And when you learn to celebrate who you are now, every future version of you arrives already.
41:33
Welcome.
And what we refuse to celebrate, it becomes our unfinished work.
When you learn to honor the ordinary, to bow to your own brilliance, to see your gifts and story as sacred, something inside of you shifts.
41:48
You stop chasing your life and you start inhabiting it.
You start living it, and every other part of your world begins to rise to meet you, your relationship, your voice, your joy, even your income.
Because when you live in celebration, you attract a life that celebrates you back.
42:07
And the six month celebration circle is built for that. 24 facets, 24 live mirrors.
Every call shows you a different angle of who you are, what you project, what you hide, what you’re not seeing.
And it ends with the celebration ritual where 20 mirrors reflects your gifts back to you.
42:25
Your only job is to receive, and maybe for the first time ever, you will see your full, faceted, multidimensional, gifted, abundant self.
And then there’s the third journey, Sacred impact.
And this is the one for leaders in the transformational and spiritual field who have this great vision, depth and sensitivity, but they struggle to bring their service into tangible form here on Earth.
42:49
I’ve guided and coached over 5000 liters in the last 15 years, helping them create platforms and offerings that comes from a real alignment, something that honors their integrity, their sensitivity, their pacing.
And for six months, we meet as a group of 10.
43:06
We bring your platform, your ideas, your service, your medicine into structure, into form, and into a rhythm that actually grows the tree you’ve been cultivating and produces the fruit you’ve been trying to reach for years.
It’s planting these seeds in a container where they can grow and bringing it into resonance and clarity, and then watching the fruits of the sacred work manifest in a way that finally feels true to who you are.
43:31
You can find more information about these three journeys on davidvox.com.
See you next week, my friend.
