Ayahuasca
The sacred grandmother, used for thousands of years for profound healing and awakening.
GAY MEN ONLY · RETREAT OUTSIDE MADRID
A four-night ayahuasca integration retreat held exclusively for gay and queer men — a safe, tender, brotherly container where identity, sexuality, shame, love and belonging are welcome in the circle, not left at the door.
A retreat for gay & queer men
Many of us learned early to edit ourselves — to read the room before we speak, to keep parts of our story quiet, to be careful with how much tenderness we show another man.
For four nights, the container is held exclusively for gay and queer men. Identity, sexuality, desire, shame, family, faith, loss, chosen family and love all belong in the circle — not as topics to explain, but as lived ground everyone in the room already understands.
What grows in that kind of space is brotherhood. Men who have carried similar weight sitting together, singing together, sweating together, crying without apology, and then walking home into their real lives with people who keep answering the phone. The medicine opens it; the brothers keep it alive.
Everything else — the preparation, the ceremonies, the ten modalities, the medical team, the months of integration circles afterwards — is exactly the same complete journey we hold on every retreat, described below.
Welcome
This is not a ceremony weekend with integration added afterwards. It is a complete five-month journey centred on a four-night residential retreat, with private-room accommodation and sustained support before, during and after the ceremonies. Two months before you arrive, preparation circles, guided personal practices and private one-to-one sessions help you explore your intentions, history and current life across twelve dimensions. On the land, three ayahuasca ceremonies, San Pedro and ten expert-led modalities form one coherent process, held by a multidisciplinary team that includes a medical doctor. After you return home, the journey continues for three months through seven integration circles, ongoing personal practice and a private follow-up session. The purpose is not to send you home carrying a powerful experience alone. It is to give what opens on the land enough preparation, practice, professional support and time to become part of how you live.

The Ayahuasca Integration Retreat Process
Step 1
The journey begins with a personal conversation with David or one of our retreat facilitators. Together, we explore where you are, what you are carrying, what is asking to be integrated and whether this retreat is the right container for you.
Step 2
Before forming an intention, we explore the wider terrain of your life, including your emotional world, body, relationships, family history, work, creativity, spirituality and sense of direction. This is followed by a second private one-to-one session to clarify where your intention is forming and what may require deeper attention.
Step 3
During your third private one-to-one session, we create a preparation plan around your actual needs. This may include personal practices, dietary preparation, guided reflection and specific forms of support. You arrive with an intention grounded in your life and a clear personal practice already underway.
Step 4
During the two months before the retreat, you join online preparation circles with the people who will share the journey. You also meet the shaman, medical doctor, psychotherapist and key facilitators who will support you on the land. This gives you time to understand the process, ask questions and build trust with the team and group before arriving. The medical doctor is part of the retreat team and the wider preparation process, not an external contact brought in only when something goes wrong.
Step 5
You arrive at Terrapacha and settle into your own private room. The retreat is intentionally limited to a small group, creating space for rest, personal attention and direct support throughout the experience. The first day is devoted to arrival, orientation, agreements and preparing the group to enter the ceremonial process together.
Step 6
The retreat includes three ayahuasca ceremonies and one San Pedro ceremony. These are held within a wider process of psychotherapist-led integration, family constellation work, breathwork, sound, gong therapy, temazcal, movement, ritual and time in nature. Every modality serves the same integration arc. Each morning, you are supported in meeting what emerged before entering the next stage of the retreat. The medical doctor remains part of the multidisciplinary team holding the process on the land.
Step 7
After returning home, you continue with seven facilitated integration circles, guided personal practices and ongoing breathwork. The focus gradually moves from interpreting the ceremonies to recognising how the experience is affecting your relationships, choices, emotional patterns, body and daily life.
Step 8
A final private one-to-one session with David or a retreat facilitator who has come to know you and your process deeply gives you space to examine what has changed, where you remain challenged and what now needs continued practice or support. The purpose is not to preserve the retreat experience. It is to integrate what happened into the way you live.
Step 9
The scheduled integration process may end, but your place in the community does not. You remain welcome to join our integration circles and breathwork sessions long after the seven post-retreat circles are complete. You can continue practising, reconnecting and receiving support within a community that already knows the journey you have taken.
By the time you return home, the retreat is no longer an event. It is a thread woven into the life you are learning to live.
Ten Faces of Integration
Every modality below is an integration modality — a different door into the same room. Together they form the container that lets the medicine land in your body, your relationships, and your life.

The sacred grandmother, used for thousands of years for profound healing and awakening.

The sacred grandfather, keeper of the sun, opening the heart to celebrate life.

A sacred Kogi ritual of giving back to the earth — releasing what no longer serves and calling in what we desire.

An ancient technology of the body — using breath to release, heal and expand into clarity and presence.

A journey through gongs, shamanic flutes and singing bowls, integrating what the ceremonies have opened.

A ritual of fire, water, earth and wind, working with ancestor stones to release and rebirth.

Sacred space to speak and be witnessed — weaving the threads of experience into lasting transformation.

A deep dive into ancestral family dynamics — clarifying and releasing the patterns carried through generations.

A light, relaxing gong bath to calm our bodies before deeper work.

As the sun sets on our final day, we dance — free movement under open sky, celebrating life with everything we have.
