Explicit conversation before ceremony about touch, presence and boundaries. No sexual contact between facilitators and participants ever — during, or in the vulnerability window afterward. Any facilitator who cannot articulate their consent framework should not be trusted with your ceremony.

Red flags cluster: guru dynamics ("only I can guide you"), sexual boundary blurring, financial pressure or love-bombing, secrecy about lineage or training, dismissiveness about medical safety, isolation from your outside relationships, and any framing that positions the facilitator as beyond critique. A healthy container encourages your discernment, welcomes questions, and makes it easy to leave. Trust your body — if something feels off before ceremony, it will feel worse after.
